Trim mcn's for newbie girls!

There two of us in the newbie thread with 5 month old girls in our first week of trying mcn's. We'd love to know your favourite TRIM mcn's for this age group (we are struggling with the increased bulk of mcn's compared to disposables!)

But NicNaps and dragonflyMagick aren't bulky.
And I'm sure you know of itti bittis already!

I used flats on my little girl at that age but trim nappies I loved when she was 1o months + were itti bittis, beetlebums and swaddlebees. I also love Cauldron nappies for their trimness, they're not made anymore but you may be able to pick them up second hand on Buy for Baby

Definitely itti bittis for trimness. My bubba is 6.5 months and they are her most trim nappies. Monkey Doodlez aren't too bad either. I bought a Wild Child the other day and it's similar to itti bittis in trimness but I'm going to sell it because I need more day-care friendly nappies e.g. not snaps.

My small Berry Plush used to be really trim on bubba but since she's grown out of it I haven't tried a medium yet (it's on order ).

Try not to worry too much about trimness because you get used to cloth bottoms after a while - honest! And there are some super-performers and super-cute nappies out there you will miss out on if you limit yourself too much! I've been where you are (DD1 was all disposables and I didn't start DD2 in cloth until 10 weeks) and after a while you don't even notice

My trimmest are swaddlebees pockets - they fit under my pumpkin patch jumpsuits which are not roomy in the crotch area at all! Bumgenius can be pretty trim too with a smaller MF cloth insert.

Our trimmest nappies for under clothese are:
Peep-O bamboo fitteds, Ittis Bitti Boo's for fitteds
Monkey doodlez micro and Itti Bitti for AIO's

The trimest in my limited stash are Motherease Sandys but as I said, I have a limited stash - we're terry square people.

A lot of mine are homemade using the VB pattern in a m/l size and they are lovely and trim.
We also have Itti Bitti fitteds in M and L and they are great too.

swaddlebees I reckon and then you have the choice of snaps/aplix etc. There are some on sale at Cotton Bottom too.
