Remove this mods if needed - I'm not advertising at all just giving my opinion. I made my nappies with gussets because when using ones without I had leaks but still haven't had any leaks st all when using ones with gussets. Mind you, I only use AIO's because I'm lazy lol. I think if using fitteds with a cover you probably don't need gussets because you have 2 leg elastic parts to hold in poo explosions. But if you plan on making newborn AIO's, I'd definately put gussets in - just my experience. Good luck

you will probably find disposables poo leak more than cloth aio's/pockets with jade (sposies) i often wore poo on my bra, pillows, clothes etc - bleh! with the others cloth not one poo leak i can remember i found no gussets fine - but prefer them if padfolding a prefold, but still didnt NEED them i found!
