For a newborn? The thing I like about prefolds is that they're quick drying - handy for all those newborn changes and washing.
So, to me, a bamboo prefold, which will take longer to dry, doesn't make sense, especially if bub is pooing lots before they can outwee the prefold. If I wanted more absorbency, I'd just add a bamboo booster. (Having said that, I don't have any bamboo prefolds, and I know that many who have them love them, so you gotta take what I say with a grain of salt! )I got mine from The Wee Wuns and Nurture Nappies, and have also heard of The Nappy Bucket stocking them at a good price.

None in-stock at Pookey Pockets and only one at Bits for Bots (I really want at least a half dozen of the same type). They are also out of stock at iish fly.
I've been on the look out for bamboo ones for awhile and they seem pretty hard to get.
