Default Where to buy Bamboo Fleece?

Hi Everyone!

I am going to attempt and make my own diy prefolds from previous forums, however where do you get Bamboo fleece from? I live on the Sunshine Coast, QLD or is it an internet thing...if so could you let me know some sites others may of used....

Would you all recomend another material in between the layers. or just use all bamboo fleece...

Am interested in hemp prefolds to but have the same problems what materials do u use in the layers and where to purchase the fabric....

would love your feedback, ta

Hi Karzie,
if you come down to Brisbane at all, I have a shop that sells bamboo and hemp and most other nappy-making fabrics, otherwise there are a variety of online stores (as per Kristy's link) that also stock it.

with prefolds I personally prefer no more than 2 layers of bamboo together so they dry fairly quickly, but you can probably get away with 3 layers in the centre if you're not so fussy about drying time. hemp is a bit faster drying than bamboo, so 3 layers in the centre of your prefold isn't so bad.
are you planning on fastening the prefolds with a snappi or just using them pad-folded in a cover? if you're intending to use a snappi, then you may want to go with the hemp french terry or bamboo terry as the fleece really doesn't snappi at all well.
