I found my kissaluvs size 0, swaddlebees NB and CK raph's great for the first two weeks. I like my Mandymacs as well but they look so bulky though they are great value for money being OSFM.

I personally preferred flat cloth for my newborn. You're changing them so often anyway that I didn't figure it was worth bothering with miniature AIOs, pockets or prefolds that might only last a short while. At least with the flats, I can still use them now.
And their tiny bum just looks SOOO cute in a fat cloth nappy! For covers, I like my homemade polarfleece ones ![]() |

ok miss m was teeny (5 lb 3 ) so on her we got a lot ofwear out of her smaller nappies -
my faves were fitteds - Whizz kidz osfm these things arefabulous ![]() raphaels (although we had nb not smalls) i had about 18 of these they were our main stash and prefolds although they were mainly stash boosters and i like my ericas fitted although i only had one Aio - bubblebubs and HB aio were what i had i also had a couple of specially made Wriggley bumz Covers - bbh , bummis and soakers and longies |

I used mainly infant-sized cotton prefolds and covers with DD, although I did have a handful of newborn fitteds - Kissaluvs size 0, itti bitti size small and bumgenius bamboo fitteds (now discontinued).
I used newborn/extra-small sized covers - Bambino Mio, Modern Baby, Motherease Rikki and Bummis. DD was 7 lbs 6 oz born and I didn't get round to trying OSFA fitteds on her until she was 3mths/5kg => then I used Babybeehinds Bamboo, Mandy Macs and Cute Tooshies Bamboo Delights. I've only started using the odd AIO since she started solids (no more explosive runny breastfed poo => I prefered the double protection of a fitted and a cover or a flat and a cover for the early stage). i loved Tots Bots snappiables in the smaller size (still use these on my now 1 year old!)
Peep-O Poppets Place small Ittis and I had a NB and a small Bubblebubs- these were nice, but I found that they could be very bulky between her legs. I loved the adjustability of the tots Bots. Always had a perfect fit. I mainly used Bummis covers, and when she was big enough moved into the Baby Behinds Pull wraps. |

My newborn wears haute pockets for day or night, and bummis for day only (she is a heavy wetter). She also has a greenkids funtime for day use only, haven't tried their anytimes yet. But their fit is great around little legs!

I'm another one who apart from flats mainly had raphaels. We loved them. So cute and easy! Also bubblebubs were great as well.
![]() We're trying tots bots, bam bams etc this time. See how we go!
