As it reads in the title. a friend from work is having a bub in Septmeber. She is keen on cloth and has been asking for my advice - a little hard as I didn't start with cloth seriously until lucas was 3 1/2 months old. I was thinking of making her some fitteds (very baby) and am trying to work out which would be the easiest for her(and her dh) to start with touch tape, snappiable terry outer, or snaps??
What are your thoughts, those of you who have done the NB thing TIA

Has she used cloth before?
Personally I found snappi-able outers the best FIT for a newborn, but some ppl are snappi-impaired or put off by the idea ... I reckon touch tape is the most DH-friendly.

I prefered snappis for my newborn, much more adjustable and easy as long as you have very snappiable fabric - bamboo or cotton towelling is great, hemp terry not so. I found that TT sometimes sat funny under their tummies. My DH had no problems with them. I made him practice a few times before she was born on a teddy!
Maybe you could make half/half? Shara |
