Default Newborn poo

How long does the breastfed newborn's poo stay that yellow and sticky? Until she goes to solids? And when do you start using the Little Squirt?

Everyone is different but I used the lil squirt and microfleece liners as soon as I was home from hospy. I can't remember about NB poo but I think Maxies was fairly pumpkiny until he started solids at 7 months

I think they started doing formed poo's when they went on solids, around 5/6 months. I used LS from day one.

Until solids are well established I found the poo stayed quiet yellow/orange and more liquid (ie. no rolling off the liner).

Yes - until solids. Breastfed poo is much sweeter and pleasant smelling than solid poo too. I found the Little Squirt particularly useful for newborn poo - my girls solid poo generally falls off itself when I hold it over the toilet.
