My newborn stash consists of the mass amounts of flats, flanny and terry, we used with Lily
, one auriel fitted Lily bought , some OSFM that were Lily's and some little fitteds on their way as part of a trade. In terms of covers, it will be wool, wool and more wool with some pul snibs just in case.

For the newborn stage:
I have terry and muslin flats left over from DD1 and about 10 prefolds. I have made 11 NB-sized VB fitted nappies with sherpa and intend to make a few more NB and Small sizes to complete the collection. 8-10 NB/Small PUL covers for the prefolds, fitteds and muslin (can fit from 2.5 or 3kg) from bummis, thirsties and homemade (not by me). For terry I have 3 small sized covers (terry is bulkier than prefolds or muslin). I also have 2-3 NB AIOs for going out, might make a few more NB and small AIOs out of the VB pattern too if time permits (just for the cuteness factor!). WHen bub gets bigger I have a small collection of small sized Bluberry side-snapped and other small-sized nappies, plus a huge selection of OSFA nappies (fitteds and pockets) to share with DD1.

ATM we are mostly using fitteds and covers. Evie is a week old and was 4.33kg born, but isn't very chubby cos she was long too. Still getting blowouts in AIOs (She's breastfed)
My favourites are my home-made ones from the Darling Diapers newborn fitted pattern. I have a sz 1 Bits for Bots that's nice and absorbent and a good fit, a sm Dream-Eze, a sz 1 Bubba J bamboo fitted, and some random other ones in a loan kit. I have some OSFM but so far the Mosaic Moon (from Crafty Caterpillar) and BBH are still too big really. The Cute Tooshies and Whizz Kidz OSFM are good though. I find it's the covers making or breaking it. I am loving our small Baby Beehinds covers (1 PUL, 1 wool). They're a bit 'puffy' still but stretchy enough to still give a great fit around the legs and waist. I also have a Bummis Super Snap which is ok but I prefer velcro on newborn covers. I have prefolds and flats but so far with sunshine for drying, hven't used them. I also have some knitted wool longies but wll probably use them more as we venture out of the house and I want her to look ultra-cute - she's not worn anything other than Wondersuits/all-in-one rompers yet. I have itti d'lish & minky ittis, and Small Bubblebubs, as well as a size 1 Cherub's Kiss Auriel, but as I said we're still getting blowouts in these - prbably in a week they'll fit better. Also have some Green Kids technically bought for her but big brother is using them.
