based on my own personal experience, I'd say you don't have enough covers in NB sizing, if you expect to have a small bub. Also, you might want to look at more prefolds/flats to pad it out if you are concerned about drying time at all, or don't want to buy more expensive nappies. I don't know where you are, but I'm in SA and atm I'm struggling to get stuff dry without using the dryer
i mostly I have bamboo nappies. a good pretty quick drying nappy I can recommend is Bubblebubs Sherpies - they dry super quick and are a great fit (snappiable fitted). Also kissaluv size 0s might be suitable for you too - quick drying again and great for pootainment! I'd personally avoid AIOs until your bub is bigger - fitting into small sizes for eg. I didn't have much success with either AIOs or AI2s until maybe 2-2.5months old. |

If your bub is leaning towards being a little small (mine was 2.9kg at birth), you might find the Cute Tooshies a little too bulky. From my personal experience, anything snappiable (so your prefolds will be fine
) is really good fit because I can adjust the legs as tightly as I wanted (my bub had chicken legs as a newborn lol). I used Tots Bots cotton exclusively with her the first 3 months as really loved them I'm pretty they are on sale at some store atm...I'm not sure which store though ![]() Bubblebubs are true AIOs, they have a sewn-in but flap out booster so they take a while to dry this time of the year. I never used AIOs with newborn so have no personal experience. From what I've heard, some people have a good success using them but some don't due to poo explosion lol. and yes, get more covers

definitely need more NB covers. I started with 4 and had to buy more! I had a bub with poop explosions lol.
I would tend to get a dozen ( or 2) more nappies. Be it prefolds/flats or fitteds. all NB sized if u have small bubs, DS was 3.4 kg and he was too small for small nappies and was in NB size or prefolds/flats for about 7-8 weeks. HTH Amanda |
