Default Big Baby

So yesterday I had my 36 week scan and lucky me found out bub is a big boy again... Chase was also big at 9lbs 5oz and this one is already 3.54kg (estimated) and very long just like Chase was.

Anyone else had a baby at the top end of 9 pound and able to tell me if some of the small nappies will fit straight away? I didn't buy newborn nappies because I thought he would be a big boy but have small d'lish, bubblebubs, magicalls, happy heiny, OSFM B.G 2.0, monkey doodlez and jam tots.

I have just washed them all and got them ready but wondering if anyone has used them straight away?

Both my boys were 4.28 and 4.23 kgs respectively. I used none of those - but only used BBB fitteds from about 2-3 weeks old.

F was 9lb 5oz (4.2kgs) at birth. I didn't bother with NB sizes at all. But all the small sized nappies we bought - Bits for Bots, Bubblebubs Sherpies/Bam Bams, and even the kissaluv size 0s are still fitting. We are starting to get to the end of the fit on all but the small bits for bots nappies mentioned, so they will be retired soon. F is 3.5 months so I think they have been good value for money.

I also had a couple of X-small Thirsties covers which fit fine for about 2.5 months, so they were a good buy too.

I also used Baby Beehinds and Cute Tooshies OSFM successfully from birth (well, from about 1 week as we didn't do cloth in the hospital).

I found the small Magic Alls fit ok early on but we did get some leaks (only wee, not poo), due to skinny legs, but from about 1 month on they worked fantastically and she's still in the small size of those.

Pickle was 10 pounds 2 ounces... (which is about 4.35kg????? can't remember)
He went straight into smalls (and some small/mediums)
We used the Happy Heiny smalls and the BG fitted him (though he couldn't take the suedecloth so that didn't last long) can't remember what else we used... have a lot of homemades.. But never any newborn nappies here...

Evelyn was 9lb9oz. Small AIOs (we have ittis, Bubblebubs and Mgic Alls) still leak a little at the legs, she's 2 wks old.
Small fitteds and covers are great, bt the newborn fitteds I made also fit perfectly.

B was 9lb 10 - and got very very fat very very quickly. Our smalls only lasted MAX 4 weeks. He was a very chunky babe. If you are likely to have long and skinny they are likely to fit better for longer.

I think by 8 weeks, but kids were in the same nappies night and day (18 months apart) and at that age, B was wearing 0/1 clothes too
