Sam is in medium itti dlish at 9 weeks Perfect fit - just fabulous
Newborn bubblebubs lasted about 3 weeks long - occassional blowout
Small bubblebubs from 4 weeks - still going okay getting to the ends of the TT though
Medium snap rumpster - going okay - no blowouts (yet) there is a bit of leg gape
We also find small pockets easy - fuzzibunz are my standout

berniebabe - the fit is excellent. I still have him on the smallest setting, but that means they will last him for ages. We've had no leaks for blowouts with them and I always use the booster. I'm think I might even try boosting it more and then trying it at night.

For true newborn I found fitteds better, sorry.

Once the legs plumped a little I liked small fuzzis, small swaddlebees (but not as good at poo-tainment), small peapods. Not such a fan of AIOs, though ittis are good.

I have a 3 week old daughter weight at birth 3.8 kilos. This is what I have in my stash and my thoughts.

Nb Magicalls: - Didn't really like fit, baby would grow out of them very quickly. I have used them when all my other nappies are drying.

Nb Bubblebubs - Great fit, no leaks, however are nearly too small as tabs are just touching. I only bought one of these and was given another.

Small Bubblebubs: - Great fit, higher rise than the nb so may not use until cord falls off, my daughters fell off at 3 days so not really an issue. No leaks and have had a few breastfed poos that have been contained well. Wash up well. Liked them so much I bought a bulk pack.

Small Berry plush: - These are slightly bulkier, but the insert is very absorbent and again no leaks. Quick drying as an AI2

Small itti bitti d'lish: - Gorgeous nappy, however they gape alot around the legs so the wee or poo comes straight out the legs. I also don't think the waist is very generous unless I just have a chubby baby. My daughter is on the last snaps. I think by the time the legs don't gape the waist is going to be too small : ( But I am tempted to get a couple of medium d'lishs when she is bigger as they are just gorgeous. Can imagine her running around in them during summer.

Fitteds and covers
I use the thirsties XS cover and Bummis NB only have two small covers as mainly use AIO's. Have found both these covers great.

NB Raphaels from Cherubs Kiss. These are a great fit, so easy to put on as got the touch tape ones. Wish I had of got 3 more as sold in 3 packs. However as she is growing quickly probably not worth getting more at this stage. Great for use during the day.

Itti bitti boos small: - I got 6 of these second hand before bubs was born as loved using the larges on my two year old. They are very absorbent. However the do gape around the legs. As they are used with a cover the gape is not too much of an issue. I am not using the boo's at the moment as for some reason my daughter cries when trying to do up the snaps. Touch tape is much easier or side snap.

Baby beehinds OSFM: - These were my son's loved them when he was bigger. They wash up well, very absorbent. Seem a little bulky and big on my newborn. I know they will be great when she is about 6 months old and onwards though.

So my suggestion would be small bubblebubs. I am getting through with 14, plus the others I have and flats with a cover when I run out.
