    Default Night time nappy changes

So far my DD uses cloth during the day and at night I have had her in disposables so as to not have to change her through the night. I want to go to cloth through the night, so if I get a good enough nappy will it last or will I need to do a night change?

DD is still waking for breastfeeds through the night, but usually goes straight back to sleep, I would hate to have her waking because I have to change a nappy! How many of you do night time cloth nappy changes?

    Thanks
    Jane

How old is your daughter? From about 6 months (I think from memory) I put Caelan into a night nappy and it lasted all night (he did and still does bfeed through the night). To start off with I used 2 terry flat nappies with a woollen soaker over the top. Very bulky, but did the job until I had the money to buy a dedicated night nappy.

Nup stopped that as soon as she slept through the night! It's worth investing in a good night nappy and cover. My hands down favourite is Sustainable hemp products Sandman night nappy and a Disana wool cover (which I got from weewuns). Mandy Mac purple nights are ok but quite low rise, wildchild also have night nappies, bubblebubs have GNST which are also a bit on the small side, and a bit fiddly for me.

I had my daughter in disposables for a while at night until I got a dedicated night nappy which made all the difference. I can't remember why I was so worried about using cloth for night - the worst that could happen would be me having to change the covers in the morning if they were wet - but it hasn't happened so far, and she's been in night nappies for over a year!

I stopped changing DD in the night at about 4 mths, couldn't be botherd. SHe was in a sandman wita cover....now she has that, or a fluffy bubs night nappy, or if I'm lazy a BG OSFM with a BBH bamboo fold up booster.

We don't do night changes here either. Ashton goes down at 9 in his night nappy and it holds through till 6.30am.
We use Wild Child night nappies
    Bizy Bee night nappies
    Sandman night nappy
    and Zada night nappy.

When we run outta those we use baby beehind minky magicalls with 2 bamboo boosters in the pocket. Or a babybeehinds bamboo OS with outside boosting and woolies or a pul cover.

What about a baby 0-6mths of age? Just a good cover like wool or something?

Morg, I used to just change every time I was up feeding them. Its terrible, but I really can't remember. I didn't discover MCN's until after DS2 was 6 months old. So when he was sleeping through the night between 1 month and 3 months I may have double nappied (sp?) with terry flats.

I love woollen covers. They are brilliant for overnight.

I just used BBB with woolies or a pul cover from birth. I stopped changing at night when he stopped pooping during the night which was ... well I can't remember, very early though.
