    Default So...I was thinking of...

just using terry flats and fluffies covers mainly.

PUL covers are just to ridiculously exy! I have managed to buy a 3 pack of Wonderwraps in Mandarin and 2 BB to try out. I can't get onto that Buy for Baby site as I only have a hotmail acc and apparently you can't use emails like that.

I would love some Berryplush or Blueberrys.

I tried those fluffies covers. They were useless, so probably don't stock up and spend heaps until you try them and decide. Not only did they leak everywhere, Ashton doesn't even fit in the size 1 ones at 7 months, his legs are too chubby and they are rediculously tight

If you dont like the price tag on PUL covers why not fleece? Fluffies are acrylic, dont breathe and dont work I would recommend any other brand than them

Using terry flats with a booster should be ok - but the fluffies covers are useless, they'll be wet after the first wee.
I agree with Vicki about fleece covers - I love them & they are generally cheaper than pul.
I know it seems like a big lot of money to spend, but the fact is that you could get away with only 3 covers. Just rotate between every wee or second wee to air them out. Thing is, they are going to work & last.
You know the saying, you get what you pay for.........
If you hunt around a bit, you will surely find something within your price range & a lot of online stores/people offer layby.

I dont tend to need more than 3 PUL covers anyway. You dont have to wait for a load of washing for them, just use the sink and they dont take long to dry.

Good news on getting onto buy for baby though.

Now I dont remember, but can you sew? Cause grabbing some polar fleece and sewing up some covers or pants is relatively cheap and easy. I would offer to help with sewing, but I have insane amounts to do in the next few weeks.

ETA: My post took about 20mins or so to load, so I missed Mel, Vicki and Becs reply.

I have a sewing machine BUT I can't sew and I don't think I would be good at sewing any pants. I just sewed some boosters up so I don't have to buy any.
