    Default Bamboo Boosters and stuff

I have bought 24 bamboo boosters to add to my lot of stuff and I wondering something. I'm having a boy so would it be more practical to place the booster more up the front of the nappy lol? I'm still going to use terry flats with the Jo Fold.

Also I have 5 new BBH PUL covers, 5 Fluffies covers and I'm having 2 wool soakers knitted for me at this point in time by a lady off Oztion.

So that should make me pretty set? Or is there anything else I should consider adding to my stash for when the baby arrives?

As for wetbags I bought 2 cheap 2x bottle coolers from Red Dot and I took off the strap with a unpicker and hey presto my own wetbags. I reckon I could fit 4 nappies in one and because it's a cooler bag with insulation it should hold the smell in. The bags have zip tops too.

Definitely at the front. My boy only wets the front of the nappy, the back has always been dry lol

Well I will make sure I do that then lol. I'm lucky enough that a lady offered to make me some bamboo boosters, she is a WAHM.

What size boosters are you getting??

Also, with the wet bags, are you able to throw them into the wash with the rest of your nappies?? I usually turn out my wet bag into my pail and then throw it in also for a wash.

Do you have any cloth wipes?? You can make these yourself at home from a layer of cotton sherpa and flannel or just 2 layers of flannel. The best size I find for these is 20x20cm.

You might also need some lanolin to re-lanolise your woolies if they get soiled. You can just use pure lanolin from the chemist for this also.

Nah, they aren't actual wetbags just something I came across I can use as a wetbag. Was gonna spray them with some Earth spray and wipe and air them out every 2nd day.

I will have to get back to you on how big the boosters are lol. I did know but I lost the email. I know they are ok as I agreed to the size. But I will post later about the size.

Yeah I got some wipes, I have bought a load of baby flannels from The Reject Shop and Best n Less. I will use organic wipes for my nappy bag.

I have lanisoh sitting in the laundry.

I find it easier to use cloth wipes when out, sounds silly I know Cause with the sposie ones you have to find a bin for the lone wipe. You can keep some dry wipes in your bag and just wet them with a drink bottle or something.

Yep that is a pain! Much easier to just chuck the nappies and wipes all in the one spot! I just keep a small sauce squeezy bottle in my bag to wet the wipes.

I use to keep a seperate bottle with wipes wash in it. I am too lazy now I just use my drink bottle or the closest tap to wet them. Its not like we wash our backside with soap every time we use the bathroom.

The boosters the lady made for me are kidney shaped and they 30cm long by about 10cm wide in the middle upto about 20cm at the top of the kidney shape.

As for wetting a flannel wipe while out I spotted a packet of clear smallish spray bottles at Woolies you can buy to put anything in at the bathroom section etc. I was going to buy it to have one under my change table and one in my nappy bag. Next time I got for a Woolies run to buy more maternity pads and breast pads haha.

Those boosters sound great! And yes definitely stock up on the breast pads - you can never have too many of those. I ended up buying some washable ones, after I realised how much we were spending on them.
