    Default Microfibre

    Hi,

I know microfibre is NOT to go agains't a babys skin as it dries it out. BUT is microfibre used as a booster? Could I place a folded piece of microfibre IN the terry flat or prefold fold to be a sort of internal booster? Or is that a stupid idea? I just have all this microfibre lying around I need to do something with. I saw on nappy sites that there are microfibre boosters and such.

yup then you could use microfleece liners. You can get that at spotlight and you don't need a sewing machine. You could make them big enough to go over the microfibre, the top layer keeping bub dry, the second (microfibre) soaking up all the wet

If you have a terry flat fold, or a prefold ready to go, you can place a microfibre booster upon it and then a liner on top to protect babes botty just fine

So long as the microfibre has a layer (or liner) between it and babes bot then it is totally fine

    yup

As long as the microfibre isn't actually touching bubs skin you could do anything with it

    Oh bugger!

You'll be fine doing what the other girls said and just laying them in under one of the folds in the terry nappy, as long as it's just the terry touching the babies bum - plus then you don't have to sew anything
