    Default Planning a newborn stash...

Okay. So I am now only ttc but I like to be well prepared!
The plan at the moment is to get a generic newborn to 1yr stash started with a couple of girl and couple of boy elements (I can sell what I dont' need).

Now I want to go the whole hog (I never sting on nappies!) and will be getting my embroidery machine out of storage as well! So help me out with a list of materials to start with! From wipes to travel bags, newborn naps to walkers. I need lots of sewing practice as its been a while!

I will have to work out summer/winter when I actually get pregnant..

Patterned Sandwich PUL + heavy duty zips for wetbags.

Minky, coral fleece, microfleece, bamboo, suedecloth, plain PUL, lastin + matching threads for AIO/pocket nappies...
You can make your own prefolds from bamboo too, or you can make some really cute AIOs for a NB. Make sure though that the crotch is reasonably narrow, I found most AIO nappies were just an awful fit because all of the bulk would be sitting righ tbetween the legs.

Terry, flannelette, velour or sherpa kinds of materials for wipes.

You can get really cool coloured overlocking threads for fitteds/boosters/wipes if you have an overlocker too.

N for Nibble, 2 years old. C for Curly, 3 years old. B for Bub, 9 weeks old.
Two toddlers and a squishy baby make up my family!
