Default For those who have used terry flats...

How long did you end up using terry flats for? Just wondering! As I was thinking of how long I should use them for. I will start looking into fitted in a couple of months.

So far the terry are working well and I can get one on with the crying and thrashing around lol. Don't need a booster as the jo fold soaks it all up lol. You could let a bomb off under Logan and the nappy would still be intact that's how solid it is LOL.

BBH covers are good! But why has the colour of each cover run into the white hem???

We used flats exclusively until three months, then I started to get some pockets for out-and-about (and for DH to use) and some bamboo fitteds for night-time. We still used flats at home until six months or so. [and on the odd occasion up till 18 months]
I just slowly built up my stash with bargains found here and there.
I too would stick with flats if they're working fine.

I started using MCN's when out from about 7 months, but used terry flats at home until C was about 18 months.

Great news that the flats are working for you your question made me giggle though because with my first 3 I only ever used flats till they TT as MCN's didn't exist then

Yep, same here. We used flats till TT. Tjis time I will try and get OSFM pockets for child care and OSFM fitteds for home second hand when I find then cheap.

    Flats:

#1 birth to TT (cotton terry)
#2 birth to TT (cotton terry)
#5 occasionally for at home mostly. These are bamboo and I plan on getting more as they dry nice and quick in winter (I'm in WA too) and will be good for camping.

I wish I knew a trimmer terry fold. the jo fold really works for me. I use cotton prefolds in booroi covers with bamboo boosters, but atm terry is good too.
