    Default Flanelette Prefold question

    Just a quick Q.

Flanelette prefolds cant be fastened with a snappi, is that right? And if thats true, how do you fasten them?? Besides using a safety pin... Because I dont have a big one handy LOL

I have just been putting the cover over them to hold them together, I just wondered if there was another way?

    Thanks

Edited to add: Can I just say Im LOVING using cloth on a newborn!!! I take photo's of her in all her nappies though I seem to have come favourites She is wearing a bits for bots A12 shell over a cute prefold at the moment, I bought quite a few A12's to use as covers so Im starting to use them all plus I have a few AIO's. Loving it!!

I don't know how, but my sister-in-law does manage to fasten her flanelette flats with a snappi. It's never worked for me though! I'm with you, just hold it all together and whip a well-fitting cover on asap!

Also do you unfold the corners from the back to bring around the front? Or just fold both sides in. Is one way better than the other?

Is it a prefold or a flat?
For flats I used the batwing fold and tucked all the corners in, held quite well.
