    Since I make all my own now...I wash the fabric before I cut into it, then once it's all sewn up, if it's an AIO/pocket I might wash & put it in the dryer, but if it's a fitted I'll just use it right away.

    I agree with the general consensus. Most of them I pre-wash once and just know to be aware of less absorbency. 1 pre-wash is highly recommended even just to get rid of factory and transit dust.
