Default What is a "heavy" wetter?

I've always wondered at what point you can tell what sort of wetter your child is.

Mia is 4.5 months, and I'm 'guessing' she's a light wetter. She can go all night in her BG pockets with just the insert that's included no problem.

But she's also only 4.5 months, so I guess that would have a lot to do with it too. But how would you judge what is a light, medium or heavy wetter?? And at what age (as I presume it changes over time)?

I knew Chelsea was a heavy wetter because I would hear stories about people using certain nappies for 3-4+ hours with no leaks & I couldn't even get them to hold 1 wee without leaking. Also when you hear people talking about using certain nappies successfully overnight eg Baby Beehinds Bamboo & yet that is a standard day nappy for us that doesn't always contain 1 wee without leaks.

I guess what I'm saying is I judge what sort of wetter Chelsea is by comparing our success with various nappies to other peoples

sometimes your bubs weeing habits can change as well. Maia was a monster wetter as a small bubba and had to change hourly or boost all of our nappies, but then it calmed down a bit around six months. then sometime around 14 months she went from lasting in a nappy for three hours to wetting out of it in one wee - which was half an hour sometimes, particularly in the morning.
