Thank you so much for your replies. I think that some of what everyone here has said is helpful!

I think that I need a bigger cover and I am going to try a side snap cover also. (lets hope he stays either tummy or back and not sides!)

Kristy you are right - it is supposed to read that Wool is not an option! Late at night.. arghhh.

The wool allergy is something that I have always had as I have a few skin allergies and it was one that I was tested for. I have reacted to all kinds. my mum and grandmother have the same allergy and so far Ryan has similar reactions to things that I did (ie: QV oil, detergents etc.. ) But thanks for the idea on dyes - I agree that they are the common element in most peoples allergies.

I am going to order some new covers and see how we go

you can ask for a sample of organic wool to test with if you ask wahms who sell them
or theres acrylic as ali remembered
