Just a question on the review section. Can anyone add a new product for review or is that up to the mods?

Also for the business reviews, I have left a couple of reviews for businesses I've purchased from and they aren't up there? I'm just wondering how this section works?

they get checked/approved before they appear, sometimes takes up to a week...

Yep, anyone can put a product up for review but it will be reviewed by Admin and/or Brooke before it will be visible to everybody.

They will become visible once they've been "approved" by Admin/Brooke.

Does that mean some reviews aren't approved therefore they are never seen????

I thought a review was someones honest opinion of a product/business, so does that mean we are only seeing the nice/good ones????

I've seen a few non-positive but honest reviews. My understanding of the mod policy is that there have been instances of dishonest reviews in the past.

they are 'approved' to make sure that;
- it is not the seller/maker reviewing them
- they are not just saying *** is crap....but if you say *** fell apart after a few washes that is probably ok.or this product didnot suit my child because....(ie. consrtuctive criticism)
- things may be checked out like whether the seller has/has not responded to claims, like customer service...
