without joining?
I need to pay someone in the US and they have given me PayPal details
do I *have* to join to pay? I'd rather not join but will if I need to and second, can I pay Paypal via credit card? I've been to have a squiz but the answers are prob staring me in the face and/or I just need sleep! Thanks Kristy

Well, you have to tell us what the answer is now!
 I tried joining paypal so I could pay for some stuff on eBay, but it's just not working for me. I would really like to know if you found a way to pay without joining! Ta.

well I filled out all the stuff to join and am still waiting for my 'activation' email... and that was shortly after my last post above... does anyone know how long the confirmation email should take?

So do I now add funds and then pay that way? Can I add from CC?

How did you get on Kristy? Your activation email may have been sent to your junk mail.
I've only ever paid directly by CC so can't help you with the add funds....
