How many pixels is my pic once I have resized it?

I have worked out how to resize pics in paint, using the skew function and have been downsizing them to about 30%. Once I have done this I don't know how to check how many pixels the photo is before I can post it. I would also love to have a small pic of Luke in my avatar, but once again don't know how to get it to 80 x 80 pixels.

Also how does everyone get their great signatures with pictures???

Can anyone help?

Not sure what your browser is, but in mine (I use Firefox) you can right click on your picture and click "Properties" and it should tell you how many pixels it is.

You get a picture in your signature by going to User CP (on the top left of the screen below the Nappycino sign) and then clicking on Edit Signature. From there you can either load a pic or you can use the image tags ( [i mg] url of picture [/ img] - without the spaces) to link to your picture if it is hosted somewhere on the web.

you really need to use a photo editing program, gimp shop is a great one. In the meantime you can attach them here and I or the other mods will resize them for you...

If I hover over the pictures I have resized it says 256 x 192 and then a whole heap of other stuff (date take, from which camera etc), would this be the pixel count?

I may attempt the sig once Luke is in bed!

I have just downloaded Gimp shop. How do I get the pic in there to resize it?

Sorry for asking so many dumb questions, but I am a bit challenged when it comes to doing some things on the computer!
