Resizing a HUGE photo
My other half surprised me (and the only store card we had that was nearly back to zero) with a new digi camera.
BUT it's pictures a huge to view through email, and I'm gathering to upload to the www. How do I resize them *the easy way*?... I am very much a novice!! And I want to update my blog with all the new fluff I just haven't gotten to! *This is why I couldn't upload pics yesterday. I wasn't NC it was me!!*

Do you have paint on your computer Donna? (Start menu -> Accessories ->Paint on Windows)
Import the photo to there and resize using the Tool menu bar -> stretch/skew -> and adding % values the same.  You can usually check the photo size by right clicking the picture and selecting properties. Save the new pic with a different name and then upload. HTH!

If you don't have software to resize it yourself, I know photobucket can automatically resize images when you upload them - they have a few different sizes to choose from. Perhaps other image hosting sites have the same option (?).

I use irfan view to resize pics, it is a free download program www.irfanview.com
