Quoting between Threads

As the title says, how do I take a quote from a post in one thread and put that quote in my post in another thread?

Does it work for pm's too?

Copy the text that you want to quote and paste it into your reply, hightlight it and then click on the quote icon whoich looks like a speech bubble (its just under the redo arrow)

You also should be able to do it using the multi-quote button (it will then retain the info of who wrote it). That's the one enxt to 'Quote' with the quotation marks and + sign.
