have you tried resetting the modem? (and/or router if you have a network)

Do you have a dns set when you look in your network properties/tcip properties?

I'd phone your isp probably.

I rang them and she got me to test 'stuff' and she said its my computer.
I turned the modem on and off already.

I dont understand why I can only access this site? I cant do email either.

resetting involves taking the power cord out and leaving it for a few minutes (long enough for it to reset itself - just turning it off and on doesn't reset it)

Or if you want to reset to factory defaults there should be a hole/button to depress somewhere on it.

Well DH has fixed it, I am back........!!!! thanks for all the tips (but now my smilies dont work and I cant remember what I did last time to fix that problem )
