we have a spare room called the ironing room, but to be honest, hardly any ironing goes on in there. There is a pile of washing to be folded, the size of Mt Everest. I stuff my pockets all the time, but then if I didn't I'd run out. Sometimes I have to stuff them as I go.

It's so nice to know I'm not alone in enjoying folding the nappies, but loathe the normal washing. I'm also very territorial about the nappy folding, if DH does it it's just never the same!

I don't mind the folding - that gets put away fairly quickly (not as quickly oops hit an extra key!!!)

I don't mind the folding - that gets put away fairly quickly (not as quickly as the nappies however!!!! ) Harriet's clothes also get put away immediately after coming off the line / out of the dryer. The ironing however hate hate hate!!!! I even bought a new iron thinking it would inspire me nuh uh So far the ironing has been sitting there for ages - I prefer to iron as it is needed.

iron? Whats that?

OH.. thats right.. i bought one last year so I could iron any cotton prints/flannelettes that are crinkled after prewashing! I have since found the dryer does a much better job....

Another who doesn't iron either, Dh does his work shirts and if we have a super special occasion we may iron our outfits, LOL.

I"m the same, so completly sane. I'm allergic to ironing, so everything either stays on the spare bed until DH asks if I need anything ironing because he is going to iron some of his clothes, or I get the 'need' to put it all away.

I am the same.. I love putting away Auroras clean nappies and clothes.
The rest of the stuff usually stays in the basket until someone needs it
