Everything in moderation is totally fine!! If you were feeding her nothing but...then I would be worried and saying it wasn't a good idea. She isn't overweight and she you do try hard to feed her healthy food...so don't stress...you are a great mum!! And a few bickies now and then are not going to harm her!!

why don't you make her some healthy bikkies? with pureed veges or fruit in them, and not lots of sugar.
or you could try homemade muffins?

Something I also thought i should mention, is that Jack only became interested in food at about 12months, I imagine that it isnt uncommon for ff babies to be similar? Finger food was what got Jack going, anything he could hold easily was likely to go down. At least soem of it would lots would end up on the floor. The key for me was to just let him graze and discover food at his own pace. So I would have a bowl of rice cakes on the floor for him to discover and eat and trail about the house Well supervised of course). Messy, yes, but at least he ate! I imagine that you have tried lots of things to get her to eat, but try not to get too emotional about it,(so much more easily said than done i know), cos it wont help. UNless her health is suffering I would not be concerned. It is great that she likes water, this means that she wont dehydrate even if she only has small amounts of formula.

Gabby had arrowroot biscuits from about 8 months on. My doctor told me that if I was gonna have a pig-out that they are the best biscuits to go nuts on (I was getting advice on losing weight for myself) so, I figured, they are probably an ok option for Gab. She usually has arrowroots or those arnott's wheat biscuits - they're not too bad as treats go. Perhaps 1 a day?? I wouldn't stress about it, mate...

I let Niamh eat milk arrowroots. All my kids have and I think it's ok. Obviously, like the others have said, only in moderation and as a snack or treat rather than a meal but they seem to really love it and I don't mind. It's a personal choice though, I have some friends who don't allow their kids to eat anything but healthy foods, fruits and vegies and that's their choice as parents...you are a great mum, just do what you are happy with and trust yourself!

Cruskits are a great one... Cam loooves a cruskit! Heaps less sugar and crap too! lol (Mind you.. he still raids the biccy tin every now and then!)
None of my boys ate much till 10 months... with Cam I never really bothered trying to feed him... he just helped himself to the older boys meals! lol When the boys started complaining then I started putting him in his highchair with his own plate! lol Most ends up on the floor, mushed into longies, or feed to the dog... He really doesn't eat that much but i dont mind.. he has booby whenever he wants! Seriously though.. dont stress too much! Dont compare your babe to other kids.. very dangerous habit to get into! And most of all.. dont sweat the small stuff.. the odd biccy wont harm (unless shes allergic or somthing!) so just trust your own judgement!
