Rachel has them. She loves the arrowroot ones. I have been trying corn thins with her today. My hubby actually walked out to me this arvo with rachel in his arms and she had a mint slice in her hand and mouth
. He drives me crazy. I think they are ok I try not to give her to many but I have to admit she knows exactly where the biscuit tin is and crawls over and opens the pantry door and taps it .

I'm not sure if they are good for babies but Izzy used to eat them
. We got her these organic ones that are made without sugar and had an orange flavour. I got them from the Mrs Flannery's store near us. I can't remember what brand they were, she loved them.Tracy Grandma's can be naughty can't they. |

My kiddies ate only vegies up till they were about 1 - then my pead. told me to fatten Brandon up or else he was going to put a NGT in! So all of a sudden my healthy kids were eating biscuits with butter on, honey jumbles, milk and butter in mashed vegies, lots of yoghurt, ice cream, cream, even cheesecake! All with my pead. and dietcian's approval!
I wouldn't recommend that for all babies - but we had to put on weight - and fast (and still do need to put on weight - Brandon's only 8.5kg at 19 months!). I'm one who believes everything in moderation is ok. So as a snack/treat it's ok - but if that was all she was eating - then I'd be worried. |

It's up to you really. How about if you have a look at the ingredients list. Break it down and then decide.
I understand it must be exciting for you to have a fussy baby eating 'something' but is it really what you would like her to be eating?

IMO I would stop now and tell your mum to stop. You are feeding her high levels of sugar and nothing nutritional at all. Give her a piece of fruit to suck on, it is sweet so highly likely she will love it and much better for her

In my first thought, I wanted to stop doing it. As a mother I want to give every possble food full with nutritions to my baby. I want to have a fridge full with fruit and vegies and other healthy snacks. But the reality is my baby doesn't like food or formula. She doesnt' like food in general. She has some things she prefers than others but she isn't interested in eating mostly.
She's happy, healthy and bright but I'm still worried. We went out for lunch with friends who have kids and they cried when their parents didn't feed them quickly enough. I tried to feed Becky and she cried...it's just frustrating that whatever I give her, she's still not eating. I'll do as Julie said I think. Give biccies to her as a treat and persevere with other healthy food. Sigh...I so wish my baby ate food happily.
