Default things that get my goat!!

the little bit of dirt that's left after you dust pan and brush up!!! it annoys me silly.
how about you?
i really should counteract this negativety and say things that i love/enjoy as well.
my son just helped my clean up and his reward was a fresh fruit salad how proud do i feel?

Many, Many things get up my goat. The one that springs to mind atm is why WHY can't DH put the coffee & sugar back in the pantry after he's made his coffee in the morning? I'm sure I'll think of more soon.

The one that gets my goat is regardless of whether the milk is right in front of him, whenever DH opens the fridge he ALWAYS asks 'wheres the milk?'!!!

Couteract that by saying that DH spent as extra hour with us this morning for cuddles in bed and was late for work - so sweet

Bec.

yep that is one thing I can't stand.

And my FIL puts tea bags that he has used on the edge of the sink and doesn't EVER put them in the bin. That one drives me to distraction and I have been known to hide the teabags so he can't drink tea when he is here

One thing I can't stand is when my hubby has his breakfast (weetbix) and leaves his bowl sitting on the bench (he leaves at 6am I don't get up till at least 7.30) in that time it has hardened

My goat is definitely got by the little stuff - I never thought of myself as a control freak until I had a dorta who is proving difficult to "control"! Why else would a sane (ish) 30 y/o (ish) woman get so upset about a 2 year old not wanting the green cup... not the green one, I don't want the green one.... ARG.

Countered with the very best cuddles, back rubs/scratches, moisturiser-application that any 2 year old could deliver.

*happy thoughts* Plus, she's sound asleep. That always helps!!!

Tanya, I understand! It's not just the coffee & sugar left out (DH leaves at 5.30am & I get up anywhere from 6am-7am), I then have to wipe up the spilt coffee & sugar, put the empty cup & spoon in the dishwasher & wipe up the drops of coffee from the counter. I have tried leaving it all to make a point...but the point was either lost or ignored!

My DH 'half' does things - like will be so good as to sweep the rug, but won't sweep the floor around it, so it's dirty again within 5 minutes, and I just have to re-do both!! There's heaps of examples of half doing things but that makes my blood boil!

Atm I'm really peeved at shops that leave things in the aisles so I can't get a double pram through it!!! argh what about exiting in an emergency if you were in a wheelchair - it has to be breaching safety standards! It's like a minefield at places like spotlight and IGA!!

The one thing that really "gets my goat" is everyday when dh takes off his work socks and leaves them on the back deck not in the dirty wash pile - then he wonders why theres no clean work socks after washing day
Counteracted with the box of my favourite choccies and the new book I wanted being given to me as a surprise present just because he loves me
