i often wonder.
if the kindy/daycare etc are going to start charging me for the sand my ds brings home in his shoes and pockets and if this is considered stealing
 ?

LOL! I put DD's shoes on this morning that she last wore to daycare on Tuesday. As I tipped them up to put on her foot, about 100gms of sand fell out (In tha car too)!

Nothing worse than grabbing a pair of their jeans (upside down) and sand pouring all over the floor!!
 We get half the sandpit in the clothes/shoes...the other half on their scalp!! I swear they must have to buy new sand on a daily basis!

Yep - Im too scared to fess up to the local council about why the sand hills are erroding on our local beach, lol

Our local centre said one child's parents collected all the sand over a period of time and then returned it in a snap lock bag (as a joke
 )
