On Sydney, Channel 7, Sunrise, right now

I sent them another email this morning. As I've noticed that nappies has disappeared from the Roswall. And in my mind the issue hasn't been addressed at all. So sent them an email saying so. And telling them that they need to start doing stories that the veiwing public actually want to see, not what some of the team members want.

A bit OT here, just wanted to know if they thanked you Lesley, for that special nappy you sent?

I still can't get over the fact that they didn't show it off to the public I reckon they have certain "sponsers" they don't want to piss off!

Genie, Vanessa is best to ask about the sunrise nappy, but as far as I know, they haven't even acknowledged it on the numerous occassions Vanessa has contacted them to follow up, acting as if they never got it...

So in short, it's unlikely they have thanked Lesley. I think Vanessa can clarify if any of them have thanked anyone for the several nappies that were sent out to: Sunrise, Today, David and Kim, and Kerri Ann.

Nope we never heard back from any of them for any of the nappies we sent
The TODAY show lady I once spoke to was very nice and really seemed positive and enthusiastic, they said they may show them on a parenting segment but nothing has eventuated and I can't seem to get anywhere when I have tried to follow up.

rude at the very least. If they don't like them/want to show them whatever, then send them back with a polite thankyou but we can't/won't/don't note, whatever.
If they have it and are hoping to use it in the future, then a note is still in order.
I imagine they get quite a bit of stuff sent to them, but that's no excuse for being rude. IMO
Be nice to give them the benefit of the doubt tho... ever the optimist that I am!

see, I have a few times wondered if they were sent to the wrong place or lost in the mail... but really, I would be VERY surprised if 4 nappies and info packs just disappeared into the ether. One may deserve benefit of the doubt, but not all 4.

I know Lucy... I was *trying* lol to be optomistic but I have to say, I agree with you hence my 'darn rude' part...

Kristy - they probably get over 100 media releases, media packs, pitches for stories etc sent to them PER day.
I am not excusing them, but I doubt they would have the time to reply unless they decide to do a story.
The idea was to send a nappy that would stand out with a media release in the hope of just getting that extra edge over the other 100 media releases they received that day. It's a crying shame it didn't work as they all got sent bl**dy lovely nappies!
We will have to try again next Real Nappy Week and try to come up with another idea of getting their attention .
