Night time nappies

Hi All,

Just getting very excited and rather pleased with myself!!!!!! And felt the need to share.

My son is now in cloth nappies FULL TIME!! Even at NIGHT!

This was a big step for me as I couldn't find any system that worked. He wets so much at night even 12 layers of hemp wasn't enough to keep the bed dry with a wool cover. But I have taken a chance and used a PUL cover (partly expecting nappy rash) but IT WORKED!!!!!

Now all I have to do is work out something that my two and a half year old can't take off (for night time) and I'll be a totally sposie free house.

No idea about the ticker but 12 layers of hemp doesn't seem like a lot for a night nappy really. Until recently we used to use about 23-25 layers of hemp and a wool cover. But even the other night, he out wee'd that and the longies were wet and stanky.

Maybe a few extra layers of hemp if you wanted to continue to use the wool cover, would help.

And as for keeping nappies on a 2 1/2 yr old - mmmm snaps maybe?? or a couple of layers of clothing over the top.
