oh I thought everyone would say no to Julie's question too! I have been wondering about the same thing for ages. Becky is still not eating brilliantly, some days she only has some dry cereal and some crackers and that's all she eats the whole day.

She just turned 1 though, is it safe to give her vitamin supplements? I know there are some that increases appetite too, but they are for toddlers like 2-3 years old. Do I have to talk to a doctor before giving them to her? Her weight is 8.1kg now (finally!!!) but the doctor comments that she's skinny...

Have only read page 1...

DD was living on not much variety but started eating a lot more once I started her on a multivitimin, however from one box to the next they were suddenly yuk and she wouldn't eat them. Her eating has gone down hill from there a bit, the other day I tried a packet of these gummi bear type things, made from organic fruit and veges, but they were yuk too (I agree but I haven't told her that :lol ) I'll be looking into liquid ones too.

MannaBears? They're kind of yummy I think, but some flavours are better than others.

Liam willing ate Vitamin C tablets during his recent cold, and I've just put him on a kids multi to see if it'll help keep the colds at bay. He is a great eater though, will eat anything. Unfortunately sometimes this means he insists that he share the dog's dinner (dry dog food - he is kind enough to offer them a handful here and there) rather than eat people dinner. Gross.

Just keep an eye on the kids ... I was giving Emma a multi-vitamin every few days for a while, and she started waking up in the night with a sore tummy and constipation - took me a while to link it with the vitamin.
She still eats badly but at least I get some vegie juice in her since she won't eat her vegies.

Thanks guys.

Theresa yep Brandon was on ferrous sulphate for 6 months, then we weaned him off, but I think his deficiency has gone down again. We've got some vitamins - syrup - he'll drink it out of the medicine glass! They have to be kept in the fridge - mum couldn't remember the name but. I'll find out when they come home tomorrow.
