Can I be a fat fighter too?

I need to lose 17kg

I have been exercising alot lately but I have also been eating alot so I haven't actually lost any weight

My biggest problem is snacking during the afternoon when the girls are asleep & at night after they have gone to bed (especially if DH goes out).

I actually need to completely overhaul our whole family's eating habits because we all snack on junk instead of healthy stuff

Can I pls join in?

Hi! My name is Ana and I want to lose roughly 12 kgs. I was recently told by another Mum that I am morbidly obese and need to lose 50 kgs and to come back when my tummy doesnt sit on my lap I am not doing this for her but to make sure I look and feel great.

Must keep junk food at total minimum

Must use treadmill for 40 mins everyday cept sunday

Must try sits ups and do weights

Avoid second servings at dinner.

Must avoid christmas foods especially ham

No take away!

Sarah- how about a low fat yoghurt as a snack? with a bit of muesli?

Seriously, I hope succeed at losing the weight you want.
All I can say is if you want to do it, do it now and dont wait till that number is doubled or even tripled

you will do it!!!!

Great suggestion Ana, but I'm a savoury kinda-gal. Maybe some good Muesli with yoghurt for brekky though I usually have wholemeal toast with vegemite and BUTTER!!!

can I just lurk and see how much extra I have after this baby comes? I've put on about 16kg so far during the pregnancy......

When DH and I have lost weight before one of the biggest changes was making lunchtime the big meal and dinner small. Can be difficult, but it works a treat.

Also eat breakfast to kickstart your metabolism!! Tho I find myself having second breakfast about mid-morning - I usually have cereal before 7am and then toast around 10am - but it keeps me going till lunch.

Sarah- do u like multigrain bread? if u can get wholemeal multigrain then even better..I love vegimite with slather of butter but I have cut both out..too much salt and fat..how about for a savoury snack a couple of pices of kavli with avocado? U can also try lentil chips..oh I mean chick pea chips..so a low salt hommus on carrot or celery sticks

Have you thought about trying Low GI foods?
People with Diabetes follow this way of eating (if you didnt already know).

Ohh Aimee! I hope no one feels bad about that! I am very small 5ft and have always been tiny. I feel uncomfortable with the way I am atm. A little weight makes a huge difference to my appearance.

I had a horrific pregnancy/labour and my main aim is to be fit and healthy before we try to conceive again Oh and hopefully look good for the 2 weddings I have to go to early next year.

I hope that everyone can feel comfortable joining us no matter if its 1kg or 100kg!
