OK I am back!

I was highly unmotivated for a while and there was a lot going on. My wake up call was a weddng I attended a couple of weeks a go. I wore a dress that I had only worn to another wedding a couple of months earlier. Well it was a little tighter!

so:

DH has lost 2.5 kg in one week and I have lost 1 kg. My goal is another 5kg. Its not much but will make me feel so much better...I still look 6 months preg.

DH has quit smoking and alcohol...and I mean quit, not just a detox. I am very proud of him. I am sure this is helping his weight.

We have chosen healthy foods to eat rather than follow a specific diet. This way it will be a lifestyle change. I have stopped buying certain foods, and am discovering some really yummy but healthy snack options.

So thats the story thus far...

hey ladies!!

I have been MIA for what feels like aaages - i think about 2 months
Great to see that this thread is still here, i've been really good with my exercising still - i'm very committed and have just started doing the Couch to 5km running program - it's really cool, it trains you to run 5 km's over a 9 week course through podcasts on your mp3 player.

Hope everyone is well ontheir way to their goals!!

Ana - it sucks when you have a cold but your doing yourself a favour by letting yourself get better - yoga will be a nice way to 'ease' yourself back into it!!

I tried on some clothes the other day and was saddened by lack of fit. It was a huge clearance at Target and years ago I would have fit into everything. I am twice the size (not weight) I once was

I have started taking a 4 3 2 1 slim detox herbal stuff and am not eating biscuits and cake.
I am around 74kgs, so lost some from Jan07 but have at least 6 kgs to go.
I am also exercising with a dance DVD (I love it) and doing stomach crunches and sit ups everyday. I don't think I'll ever be size 8 again, but don't want to be size 18.
