Hope you all have a great month of dieting! The old thread was getting too long so we will create a newbie each month. Perhaps everyone could post their weights at the beginning of each month? Or more appropriate perhaps the lost/still to lose amounts

I weighed in this morning at 80.3Kg a loss of 200gms That gives me an overall loss of 19.7kg still have 14.3 to go to 66kg.
This week I'm keeping a chart for my water and I'm going to eat breakfast! I'm aiming at 3 x 30 mins of exercise this week. I'm going to walk the dog, she's overweight too! We have a lady that delivers us a large box of Organic Veg. and fruit each week. That will ensure we eat more fruit and veg. Have a GOOD week!

ooookkkkkaaayyyyyyyyyy here goes.....
I let myself slide throughout December which wasn't the best idea but then again at least it wasn't ANOTHER thing I had to think about. I have no idea of my current weight but I'm guessing that I'm aroud the 98kg mark. My Goal for January is to loose 6kg and to start making better choices and work on good habits. I wanna walk more frequently and I also wanna work on my pilates more!!! ![]() Oh and my Goal weight in total is 70kg!!! It feels so far away but am trying not to focus on that!!

Trish you can do it!
A piece of advice: Don't set yourself too big a target on the weight loss. It should be about being healthier not the number on the scale. Instead of aiming for a weight loss aim to change something. It's working for me. When I aimed for the numbers and didn't get there i just got down on myself and I'm an emotional eater, so up goes the weight. Baby steps. Make little changes each week and don't get too hung up on how long it takes. It should be a lifestyle change, something that you can do forever. For me changing the way I shopped made a HUGE difference. I only shop once a fortnight to a menu. We use longlife milk and I freeze or make the bread. I found this stops me impulse buying the fat and sugar stuff. I also don't buy biscuits I make them it's better for me and the kids and I don't eat so many. I hope I don't sound rude and know it all. This is what is working for me. After years of YoYoing I need to do something which isn't a diet.

I don't have too much to go but it is really hard to shift. I am currently 58.6 and want to get to 54 and move some of my jelly belly. It is motivation that is my main problem. I need to exercise. I have a gym membership and exercise bike and pool at home but I seem to spend lots of time on the puter and none on fitness
I would like to try to do two lots of ten minutes exercise each day and some situps too.

Hey Tracey, no you didnt sound rude at all...it is good for me to hear these things. I find that I am a boredom eater...LOL...seriously when I know something needs to be done I usually go to the kitchen cupbaord and snack...it is sooo frustrating, sometimes I don't realise I've done it till afterwards.
Knitting has helped, almost like giving up smoking, cause I've got something in my hands and it keeps me busy I have found that I'm not snacking so much. So my goals have changed. Deep down I would still love to loose the 6kg...haha but my main focus is going to be on getting out and walking more frequently and the pilates as well as drinking lots of water

Ok I'm joining up - no idea on my weight - but I'm guessing just over 100kg - so goal this month is to get under 100kg. Back at work today so I'm trying to be good - got a bottle of water on my desk, chicken and vegies for lunch and fruit salad. Dinner tonight is fish and chips - well chips for the kiddos and dh - salad for me. Must take the dogs for a walk when I get home too.

Hmmm, do I dare? 93kg. Want to get to 75. So 18 to go. What will this week's goal be? Drinking 1.5 litres of water each day. I find drinking water really hard, and yet I know that it is one of the most important keys to weight loss. And with this week gearing up to be really hot, it seems a very appropriate goal.
Best wishes to all you Fat Fighters!

I'm not too sure what I weigh in atm either with all this chirssy eating, snacking, over indulging
I'm guessing roughly 60kg, but at 5ft nothing it REALLY shows iykwim? My long term goal is to get down to roughly 53kg (my prepreg weight), my short term goal is to stop giving into all the naughty things I shouldn't be eating, trying to find the motivation to get out for some walks (preferrably without all the kids ) and just overall eat better, feel better
