Hi guys
a bit OT and yes, I know, another wedding q, but I thought since there are a lot of people knowing lots about fabrics etc here, I would ask we are having a 'dress fitting' (well the dress fits, but a try-on whatever you'd like to call it) for my Wedding Dress, as my Mum will be in town, plus a couple of good friends. Anyway, I was advised to, when handling the dress, wear cotton gloves, since that stops the oils from your hands going onto the fabric of the dress and possibly 'yellowing' it over time... so I was thinking in that sense, cotton, or the same sort of gloves... what do you call that stuff... like latex? Anyway, if anyone knows which would be better that would be ![]() Cheers K

You use them when making chocolate as well, to keep the chocolate glossy. Pharmacies usually sell them as well, so you shouldn't have a problem finding them.
