You haven't seen dork until you've seen my mum learning on a postie bike! My uncle was teaching her and the garage door was open... drove straight up the driveway, forgot how to stop, went straight into the garage and mounted the bike on the treadmill!

Ohh nice bike Thinking about getting my licence (although should have done it in Sydney as it would have been easier). DH has a GSXR1000 and BIL has a Busa.

lol I tried learning to ride a motorbike - I went from standing still to hitting a tree and falling off in 2 secs - in front of a classroom full of TAFE students too! and it was on a Ag bike too (so no gears!). I am soo not co-ordinated! lol

I'd get a Triumph as well - I looove them. Don't really like these new bikes out now that are all light weight but lots of power - seen a friend flip his bike and lose his finger becuase of one those little rippers.

I think he's looking at either a KTM 690 supermoto or a ducati hypermotard. I don't know much more than that but it is all purely theoretical until he sells that damn ute

Very VERY cool bikes. Hey if he gets a bike in time a couple of my mates are heading for Trakdayz in March at Barbagallo race track (sort of an advanced rider training thing with some fun laps thrown in) - should be fab and a great way to learn the limits/handling of your bike safely!!
