hmm how would i describe it? it is a blue cross weave polyester fabric, feels very durable without being bulky. Does that help? LOL sorry I am not much help am I! I would be terrible at identifying a bank robber for sure...

In the instructions it says 'TPU coating' I googled TPU and found this
TPU Overview

Similar to PUL??maybe

feels more a like a soft 1 mil PUL but to feel it the bonding feels like it is part of the fabric. soft but durable I'd say.

I would love get some, but I am worried that the preschool would throw them out, and at $10 ea I can't afford for that to happen.

Might get some for us when we go to the park though.

Do you put them in the wash with the rest of your laundry, or just rinse them?

Okay, I am having a brain dead moment here - what's the purpose of these wraps?

I would assume its not air tight so would not have the same advantage as sandwich containers where you can take the air out of it.

Is it just to protect the sandwich from falling apart? In that case can't a PUL or Vinyl or some sort of plasticky material do?
