no worries Clo
![]() Hey Eilleen... that's an idea - as in envelope style/square with one opening (is that what you mean?) - that would mean less air able to get in too... hmm... might be doing THAT tonight lol

The lady who made them stated she designed them that way so they could be used like a serviette when unfolded... but I like the "envelope" idea E!

What if you just used the PUL inside out? Assuming you had cotton laminated PUL?

You could always make the envelope thing out of PUL and have the sandwich wrapped in just a square of cloth inside that - which can be a serviette for you (wiping your mouth on PUL doesn't sound fun) and stops the food touching the PUL. And just toss the serviette bit in the washing basket and turn the PUL bag inside out, give it a wipe and it's good to go again (provided nothing too gooey got on it)You could also slice an apple and put an apple slice in there with the sandwich - doesn't that keep them moist? I'd be more concerned about squishage than things leaking or catching some deadly disease from the PUL.... the amount of squashed sandwiches I've had for school lunches Apple shaped craters, sandwiches folded in half almost from rattling around in my bag...

mmm wonder what we can come up with for reinforcing Obsi?
I think the idea is that the PUL-wrapped sandwich then goes in a lunchbox... but then yeh still the dodging apples and stuff... using the flat from icecream etc containers to make a 'reinforcer' to put in the bigger sides? gosh I dunno lol
