Fabric Q... yes it's a stupid one *blush*
Is Velvet made from Rayon?
 Reason: I have a dress I say is my 'black velvet dress'. But that tag says 100% rayon.

Hehe, I may sounds stupid too but I thought velvet is poly and rayon is poly isnt it? I don't know........I will shut up now

velvet is actually the look of the fabric not the composition. Similarly you can get sherpa in cotton or acrylic sherpa or even sherpa polar fleece, sherpa is the finish to the fabric as is velveting
