Default Waiting for the home visit Dr.....

Toby had a fall this afternoon. I think he was climbing in or out of the washing basket. I didn't see. He howled and howled and then after kept saying "hand sore". He's been favouring his wrist and yelps when he puts weight on it. A call to the health line and a 20 minute consult with the nurse ended in her recommending he see a GP tonight. Of course DH is away! Home visiting Dr to the rescue...and they bulk bill! I love our medical system!
Only problem is it's 7.30 now and my kids are usually in bed by 7. Miya will not hear of going to bed cause she doesn't want to miss an excitement At least they are playing nicely together...hope the Dr isn't too much longer. I'll let you know how we go.

Oh Donna sorry he had a fall! Hope it's all okay and the kids settle down soon after the "excitement" has left

Oh hope Toby is ok, Donna!

Wow, home visiting! I wonder if there's such a thing in NSW, I don't have high hope with the medical system here.

Hope the doctor has come and gone and that Toby is ok and that it's not serious.

Keep us posted Donna.

Ying, there are some doctors who will do home visits but it depends on the doctor.

Hope everything is ok with Toby's wrist

We have used the home Dr service here too & it is great. Definitely beats sitting in an ER & they have small doses of AB's etc with them so you don't have to wait until the next day to get started on the medication. It's a great system.

He's fine The lovely Dr has been and gone and she couldn't see any sign of fracture and by his demeanor and the way he was using his hand she was confident it would be fine. Of course she said to watch him tomorrow. He's fast asleep now and his bouncy sister has just popped out of bed.....

Well Miss bouncy has just bounced herself into my bed. She can stay there as long as she stops talking!
