Default Ideas for playing dress-up

Becky is crazy about playing dress up atm (has been for about 2-3 months actually) and I'm trying to put up a dress up box for her. So far we have a fairy skirt (I think we need 2 now as she went hysteric this morning when I had to wash it and waited for it to dry), a fairy wings (again need to buy another one as this one almost wears off), my shoes, some of my hats, a pair of sunnies, several bags.

I'm thinking of getting a princess tiara, I think she's going to really like it. Maybe a cape as well? I found a cheap tiara at a bargain store the other day so I'm gonna go and get it next week. Where else can I find other stuff? I don't want to buy those ridiculously expensive costumes from Toys R Us and the likes. I just want something simple and low key, please don't tell me to make them though as I'm really really hopeless

What else should I add in the dress up box for her?

oooh ying, we love dress ups in our house too!!!
I have made a kangaroo tail for the kids.....chopped a leg off old pair of stockings, filled it up with balls of newspaper (YK scrunch a sheet of newspaper into a ball), then tie/sew a length of ribbon/elastic to the top, for the kiddies to tie around their waist....
really easy to make - lots of fun!!
oooh what else, funky coloured wigs (YK rocker/clown/long/short), bunny ears and tail, hats, bags, wands, cuts of fabric for capes/sarongs/etc, glasses, ribbons, belts......
spotlight often has seasonal products which are reduced after the fact, like their st patricks day and easter stuff will be reduced soon, and you will be able to find some stuff from there to put in dress ups...

the cheap tiaras break, get 2
sil gives us soo much costumes, i get her kids old ones she makes and she buys heaps of fairy dresses for birthdays - really should cull here
we have 2 overfull boxes
atm jade is wearing a hi 5 cape from the superhero concert and a willy wonka hat from the royal show showbags - she is wizzy from the fairies
cheap shops have costumes - weve got buzz/woody ones for $10, animal tails/headbands,etc.

Our boys use their paint smocks as capes, we have lots of different hats for them too.

What about some bandages and band-aids for playing doctors too? I know its not really the 'dress-up' but then you can get in on it too and play the patient.
