Teacher needed urgently!!
Hi all,
I'm posting this as a desperate plea in the hope that there is a teacher out there who could help us out. If you know of any teachers, please pass it on. Thanks! URGENT! If you can answer any of the above questions with "Yes!" then please read on: Holy Rosary School, Derby is a Catholic Primary School, which caters for approximately 230 students from Kindergarten to Year 7. We are seeking the immenent appointment of a full-time relief teacher for twenty Year 7 students for the entire second term (28 April - 4 July). Travel and accommodation will be provided for and the experience of a lifetime is an added bonus. The other position is in lieu of not filling the above position and is for an Indigenous Assistance Tutorial Scheme (ITAS) Tutor. "ITAS aims to maximise the educational opportunities of eligible Indigenous students and to improve the educational outcomes of Indigenous students." (Department of Education, Science & Training) The ITAS tutor has a .8 load (4 days) and works one on one with students from years 4 through to 7, focusing on literacy and numeracy. That'd be hard to move just for one term with a family and hubby. It'd be a fun experience though, for someone who could do the move.

I've just read that ad out to my husband (who is qualified for that) - he'd love to do it but sadly we have commitments here. It would be an awesome experience...
My SIL is actually teaching up near Broome atm, finding it challenging but rewarding.
