Default The book depository

Sorry mods but I put this hear so that all member could get the benefits from them.

The Book Depository - Homepage - Cheap books with free delivery worldwide !!! "all books for all people"

I ordered from here on the weekend and one of the four books turned up today so talk about fast service.

For four books it cost me $44 which in OZ would've cost me about $80+.

I just looked up charlie and lola for neve and there are thousand, she will be so happy.

Also the best thing is FREE POSTAGE, you read it right FREE POSTAGE.

I got this book EAT, PRAY, LOVE which has been on Oprah and it sounds great so thought I would give it a read cause it is such bargain deal.

I got my uni books from here, very happy with the price and the speed.

The packaging is a bit wasteful, but I find it is re-usable so if you sell things on eBay/trading rooms/whatever you can re-use it.

There is also the issue of the environmental cost of shipping across the world - and I do like browsing bookshops when it comes to buying 'fun' books ... but considering my 2 uni books were going to cost me $250 and I got them for about $120 it was a BIG price difference!

Wems I ordered from Amazon before and also got them in separate parcels.

I sort of agree Georgie but I also think that helping the world also means helping yourself and it it saves you money that you can then use in other areas of your life them why not. The book in the local bookshop most probaby also came from overseas to start with.

Issue for me is that I don't have a local bookshop

I've had this site bookmarked for a few weeks now because someone recommended it to me for text books. I didn't even think to look at it for fiction books as well

i love this site so much. i've gotten heaps of board books, knitting books, parenting books, also TBs and fiction etc etc...

i can't figure out though why they don't send multiple books in one order in one parcel instead of separately, but i'm not complaining; it's so cheap!

does anyone have the same problem? Everytime I put a new book in my cart and click continue shopping, the previous book disappears off my cart I simply can't complete my order.

and I can't check out either. the message just comes up and says "you should have at least one item in your cart" WT????
