Yep, Z crawled backwards first too. She'd see a toy and try and crawl to it- then look so confused as she got further and further away from it!

ellie was a backwards crawler too, she used to get stuck and couldn't move once she hit a wall

Becky was a commando crawler and started crawling backwards at first. She didn't crawl properly until she's 9 months and by then she already started to stand up.

I thought Pickle would never learn to crawl forwards
 He went backwards for awhile (and get really upset cause the toy he was heading for just kept getting further and further away!) Squish went backwards first too...
