crawling - is this normal?

jon can crawl.. well kind of. he can crawl backwards but so far not forwards..

liam never did this, (though liam never learnt to turn either and kinda got bored of crawlling and went stuff it and walked early lol) so i'm wondering is this normal??

he is getting really frustrated with it (he literally growls!) and its a little bit worrisome!

Yeah, both of mine when backwards before they went forwards - funny to watch.

Dh's sister crawled backwards first. Apparently she used to get very frustrated and start crying. I'm sure he'll work it out soon. How aggravating for him!

yup all mine did that. next they rocked on all 4 trying to figure out forwards, too cute kane has just worked out forwards, but still slips onto his belly alot and sort of commando's

there are heaps of different forms of crawling and all are "normal"

I love the backwards one and the commando crawl the best.....so cute

lol he gets sooo frustrated especially when he wants to play with a toy its very cute to watch, thanks guys it was freaking me out lol now just to catch it on camera ;p

There is probably a million different ways babies start crawling. Kael crawled like a caterpillar, it was really funny to watch. He did that for a really long time, he actually started standing before he crawled 'properly'.
