Default Another mother's day question

I'm getting desperate to make something for my MIL (gotta post it by tommorrow). I had planned on sewing her a card organiser thingy - YK, you carry around business cards in it. But I can't find the tutorial I bookmarked (too many bookmarks). I bought some a metre of stiff interfacing to make the gift and some other stuff...so I'm waiting for inspiration. So what are you making for your mum/MIL?

My MIL is one of those people who has everything she needs (and enough money to buy everything she wants within reason pretty much), so I prefer to make her something a bit unique. And I've got a bit of fabric lying around here...

Does she wear glasses? A spectacle case in a special fabric could be nice - I'd imgine you could use the interfacing, but I dunno a link to a tutorial or anything ...

Thanks for the suggestions I wish my MIL would like something like that Bron, but have a feeling it wouldn't go down too well (judging from her reaction when we did give other extended family members oxfam stuff like chickens/seeds and immunsations for those in 3rd world countries for Christmas - though the recipients seemed really pleased).
I thought about a glasses case, but I think she'd prefer her hard shop provided one
So I made her a jewellery roll - just winging it. It's cotton velveteen on the inside and a cotton print outer. All made from stuff I already had here, which was very pleasing. Here are some pics:
